Role in MVTIC
Foundational role at MVTIC
Flourish Farms is MVTIC’s physical foundation in May Pen, Clarendon. It is the family poultry farm where operations began on the ground, raising farm chickens and managing daily orders, feed, and logistics in Jamaica.
Working on the farm serves as the primary proving ground for MVTIC. The practical challenges encountered in the field—tracking livestock cycles, organizing local pickup in May Pen, scheduling deliveries across Clarendon and neighboring parishes, and operating without continuous mobile coverage—directly inspired the creation of MVTIC’s software ventures.
Flourish Farms operates its dedicated customer ordering portal, flock status, and pricing information on the Flourish Farms website, while MVTIC provides overarching governance, design, and engineering.
