Role in MVTIC
Field-tested farm management
Velqen was created out of the direct daily agricultural management needs of Flourish Farms in May Pen. Farm managers and workers frequently operate across acreage where cellular connectivity is intermittent or unavailable, making conventional cloud-only software unreliable.
MVTIC engineered Velqen as an offline-first mobile application. Livestock counts, crop progress, field tasks, and operational costs are recorded directly on a mobile device without waiting for internet connectivity, synchronizing cleanly once a connection is re-established.
By testing the application in everyday poultry and farm workflows in Clarendon before broader release, MVTIC ensures Velqen remains dependable, resilient, and practical for agricultural operations worldwide.
